Once an everyday decker in the West Midlands612 viewsOnce opon a time these ruled the roads of the West Midlands along with the Lynx, but into todays modern times Volvos, Enviros & Tridents share the crown, seen at Aston Manor on the 16th March 08. Simular vehicles where of course the backbone of the Leisurelink fleet in Newhaven in the 90's and I found several pictures of the Leisurelinks Fleetlines up at Aston Manor.Crazieylynx

Dennis Dart & Leyland Lynx with Irish Connections....334 viewsHXI3009 was one of the first Leyland Lynx, and fitted with the Belfast bodywork as spec, as this bodywork was not avaliable to the British Leyland Lynx, people dont often look and think of a Lynx at first look, while the Dennis Dart/Wright Handybus JDZ2349 looks just as unappealing and boxy Crazieylynx

Steyning Railway Station193 viewsThis fine view of the tidy & quite platform of Steyning Railway Station was taken by Brian Boddy in 1963. The Shoreham to Horsham line in Sussex followed the river Adur to West Grinstead, and was one of those that fell victim to the Beeching cuts, & closed in 1966, becoming part of the A283 Steyning bypass. Brian Boddy is a general transport enthusiast & historian having taken many views of road and rail transport over the years.
